So, before I get started, let’s rewind a few weeks. We were back in Marathon chilling out and thinking about what to do next. 15 Years Married!

Another special event that took place in Key West was our 15th wedding anniversary! We were back to our favorite street for restaurants, Petronia, and decided to check out Firefly for some gourmet Southern cooking. It was awesome! I had the meatloaf, and Lindy had the fried chicken. Sides were mashed potatoes, collard greens, and brussel sprouts. All washed down with a nice bottle of Malbec! Doesn’t sound like anniversary fare to you? Let me tell you, it was to die for! Loadin’ the Holiday

After the full cleaning of Holiday and while we watch Hurricane Matthew march up the east coast (Note to self: if up the east coast this time next year, don’t come too far south before October 15th!), we began to load up with provisions. Our thinking is that we would like to have enough supplies on board to be able to cruise around for at least 2-3 weeks before needing to head to a town to restock. Baking and sewing, aka indoor projects.

Hey y’all, Lindy here with my first blog post. While Zach has been focusing on boat projects, I have been working on a few new skills of my own that will be useful once we move onto the boat. First up, bread baking. Being able to make fresh bread on the boat will help keep us from having to shop so often.  I did a little google search and found a few recipes that seemed simple enough.
