15 Years Married!

15 Years Married!

Another special event that took place in Key West was our 15th wedding anniversary! We were back to our favorite street for restaurants, Petronia, and decided to check out Firefly for some gourmet Southern cooking. It was awesome! I had the meatloaf, and Lindy had the fried chicken. Sides were mashed potatoes, collard greens, and brussel sprouts. All washed down with a nice bottle of Malbec! Doesn’t sound like anniversary fare to you? Let me tell you, it was to die for! Delicious!

We finished the night with a show at The Red Barn Theatre called Murder For Two. The show was excellent with only two actors, one playing the detective and the other playing all the suspects (he was a guy and went back and forth from playing men and women of all ages simultaneously. hilarious!). Both actors played the piano at times, and there was singing. All on a small stage. The theater itself is right on Duval. A small place in a historic old barn. Excellent and highly recommended by Lindy and I! A perfect anniversary!

Sorry to be so late commenting. SometimesšŸ˜Š I forget about the blogā˜¹
I’m not sure why because the writing is excellent. Anyway, the anniversary sounds great. I remember when we were in Europe for three weeks in the 1970’s, we actually got tired of veal which is delicious, and craved a good old American hamburger. So even though you are so blessed to have fresh seafood and Lindy’s awesome cooking all the time, I imagine once in a while you two do crave that good old southern cooking. It sounded good and looked delicious. I love a play like you saw at the Red Barn. We saw a short play long ago where the the name of the play was Ah! and the only dialogue was Ah! So the only acting was the intonation and expressions by the few character actors. Zach, you would have been excellent in that play. I just walked 45 minutes and am cooling down under the magnolia tree by the lagoon. It’s going to be about 80 today and a really good wind. Just watched a little blue heron fly in and a cormorant five under. I’m sure you have this kind of weather daily.
